About the role
As a Product Owner at FA Solutions, you will take responsibility for one or more of our applications, ensuring they meet client needs with high functional quality and usability. You will lead the product through every stage - from discovery and requirements gathering to release planning, implementation, and review. The role is key in delivering complete, well-designed solutions that support both our clients and internal teams.

You will coordinate closely with UX Designers, Technical Writers, and the Development team, translating business and client needs into clear product requirements. You’ll also be responsible for managing the product backlog, planning releases, and communicating updates and new features both internally and externally.

Key responsibilities
Your main tasks include:

• Taking ownership of assigned applications and ensuring they align with business needs and product strategy.
• Leading discovery and specification work, keeping documentation up to date.
• Overseeing implementation from specification to acceptance, and reviewing final features.
• Managing release communication and presenting features to internal and external stakeholders.
• Handling application backlogs, prioritizing needs objectively, and ensuring Jira tickets follow the development process.

We are currently looking for two Product Owners, each focusing on a specific business area:

Product Owner - Order Management System

For this position, we are looking for someone with:

• Experience in a team directly involved in either building or implementing an OMS aimed at the wealth or investment management space.

• Experience as a product owner of what-if/simulation workflows or order/execution management.
  

For this position, we are looking for someone with:

• Experience in a team directly involved in building or implementing a pre-trade/post-trade compliance application within the wealth or investment management space.

• Experience as a product owner in some or all of:

  • Rule building

  • Rule assignment

  • Pre-trade compliance workflows

  • Post-trade compliance workflows

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you have excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of asset management or finance, combined with solid experience in a similar role at a software company.

You are able to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail, prioritize effectively, and maintain a clear overview even in complex projects.

We expect you to have:

• Experience (5+ years) in product ownership, product management, or business analysis within a software company
• Strong business understanding and familiarity with asset management or finance
• Working knowledge of user-centered design and product development principles
• Excellent collaboration and prioritization skills
• Ability to communicate fluently with both clients and developers using financial and technical terminology

A degree in finance (MBA or similar) is considered an advantage but not required.
